Unizen is a subsidiary established by UTL in Shanghai to better layout international trade, mainly focusing on trade. UTL began in 1990 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, where we started focusing on rail connectors, particularly terminal blocks, and we′ve been at it for over 30 years now.

Our Journey

Since our inception, UTL has grown by leaps and bounds. In 2001, we opened our second plant in Wenzhou. Fast forward to 2014, we established our own UL-certified lab, which was a big step up for us in terms of quality testing and innovation. By 2016, we had set up a sales company in Shanghai, and in 2018, we expanded further with a new facility in Kunshan, Jiangsu. More recently, we′ve opened plants in Chuzhou, Anhui, broadening our production capabilities even more. We also kicked off our terminal block business and started expanding into overseas markets, including North America.

So, what makes UTL stand out? It′s our unwavering commitment to quality and service. With dedicated finance, marketing, R&D teams, and manufacturing bases across the country, we have a solid foundation for continuous growth. A special mention goes to our General Manager, Alex Zhu, who has 17 years of experience at UTL and has LED multiple breakthroughs in sales performance, making him one of the youngest leaders in this industry.

Looking Ahead

Looking forward, we plan to keep our focus on terminal blocks while exploring other connection solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers. By offering customized products, we aim to strengthen customer loyalty and become a leading global brand in rail terminal blocks. To achieve this, we invest heavily in innovation. For example, we′ve introduced designs that can truly handle 1000V, structures that allow cable release without tools, and many other features aimed at making our products safer and easier to use.
